Privacy Policy

Seoul Mist is a small online shop run by Yooni Labs LLC, a California limited liability company ("Seoul Mist", "we", "us"). This policy explains what information this website (the "site") collects, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

The short version: browsing the site collects only the basic technical data every web host sees. We don't run analytics, ad trackers, or cookies of our own. We don't sell your personal information or share it for targeted advertising. When you check out, Stripe collects what we need to take payment, calculate tax, and fill the order.

What we collect

When you browse

The site has no accounts, sign-up forms, newsletter, or reviews, and it runs no analytics, advertising, or social-media scripts. It sets no cookies of its own. Your cart quantity lives in this browser tab's session storage so a return from checkout can still show it. It isn't a cookie, it isn't shared with us, and it's gone when you close the tab.

Our hosting provider, Vercel, receives the standard technical data every web request carries: your IP address, browser and device type, the page requested, the referring page, and the time. Vercel uses it to deliver the site, keep it secure, and prevent abuse. We don't use it to identify you or build a profile of you. See Vercel's privacy policy.

Fonts, images, and files on the site are served from the site itself, not from third-party services.

When you email us

If you write to support@seoulmist.com, we keep your email address, your name if you include it, and your message, so we can reply and follow up.

When you place an order

Checkout is Stripe Checkout, in a page Stripe hosts. You choose products and quantities within the per-order limits shown on each product page, then shipping or free local delivery in Fresno & Clovis, hand-delivered same or next day.

Stripe collects your name, email, and a US shipping address for every order, including free local delivery. Local delivery also asks for a phone number. You enter your card on Stripe's page. We never see or store your full card number. Stripe tells us the payment went through and gives us limited details, such as the card brand and last four digits, plus the name, email, address, and phone we need to fill the order.

Stripe Tax calculates sales tax from the shipping address, including free local delivery in Fresno & Clovis. Stripe emails the receipt.

We'll use order information only to:

• take payment and send your receipt (Stripe sends the receipt);
• pack and ship your order, or hand-deliver it in Fresno & Clovis, and send you tracking or a ready email;
• answer questions about an order;
• prevent fraud; and
• collect sales tax and keep the business and tax records the law requires.

We don't send marketing email. Order and shipping emails are the only emails we send unprompted.

Who we share it with

We share personal information only with the service providers we need to run the shop, and only so they can do that job:

• Hosting provider (Vercel): technical request data, to serve the site.
• Payment processor (Stripe): your name, email, billing details, shipping address, phone when you give one, and your payment card, to take payment, calculate tax, send your receipt, and prevent fraud. Stripe handles this data under its own privacy policy: https://stripe.com/privacy.
• Shipping carrier: your name and shipping address, to deliver a shipped order. Local hand delivery is done by us, and no carrier gets that address.
• Email provider: messages you send us and our replies, to run our inbox.

We may also disclose information when the law requires it, to protect our rights or prevent fraud, or to a buyer if the shop is ever sold. This policy would still apply to information collected under it.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, as California law defines those terms. We have not done either in the past 12 months. We do not share personal information with third parties for their own direct-marketing purposes.

Cookies, Do Not Track, and Global Privacy Control

The site sets no cookies of its own and has no third-party analytics, advertising, or social-media trackers. No third party collects information about your online activities over time and across other websites through our site.

Because we don't track you, the site works the same whether or not your browser sends a "Do Not Track" signal. We treat Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals as a request to opt out of any sale, sharing, or tracking, and we'll keep honoring them if anything about the site changes.

Stripe's checkout page may set its own cookies for payment security and fraud prevention. Those cookies are Stripe's, on Stripe's domain.

How long we keep it

• Order records: as long as tax and accounting laws require.
• Emails: until we no longer need them, generally no more than 2 years after our last exchange, unless they're part of an order record.
• Hosting logs: only as long as Vercel keeps them.

Your choices and rights

You can browse the site without giving us any personal information. You can also ask us to:

• tell you what personal information we have about you and send you a copy;
• correct it; or
• delete it, unless we have to keep it, for example order records needed for taxes.

To ask, email support@seoulmist.com from the address you used with us. We may ask for an order number to confirm it's you. We'll reply within 45 days, and we won't treat you differently for asking.

California residents: the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) applies only to businesses above certain size thresholds. We're a very small shop and don't expect to meet them. We offer the choices above to everyone anyway.

Children

The site is not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them. Orders must be placed by adults. If you think a child has given us information, email us and we'll delete it.

Security

The site is served only over HTTPS, and card details go straight to Stripe. We limit who can see order information and protect the accounts we use to run the shop with strong passwords and two-factor authentication. No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your information, we'll notify you as the law requires.

Where your data is stored

We and our service providers, including Stripe and Vercel, are in the United States, and your information is stored and processed there. Orders ship from Fresno, California, or are hand-delivered in Fresno & Clovis.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll post the new version here and update the effective date at the top. For material changes, like a new way of using or sharing your information, we'll also post a notice on the site's main page before the change takes effect, and email you if you have an open order with us.
